I {heart} Ikea & Whimsie Wednesday!!

So after my trip to Florida a couple of weekends ago, I was inspired to visit Ikea, just to roam and see what wonderful alterable goodness I could find.  I picked up a BUNCH of stuff, and some of it may not turn out to be anything, but this one was quick and easy, I thought it was worth sharing!  PLUS, it fits with the new Whimsie Wednesday challenge that is hosted by our sweet Donna!!!

These little treat holders are part of the Christmas tree decorations at Ikea!  They come 6 in a box for 3.99.  Three of them are like this one (white w/ red dots, and the other three are red w/ white dots).  They had several patterns available, and I chose the polka dots-- because hello, I have hardly met a polka dot I didn't love, and, I thought I could pass these off at Valentine's Day if I don't use them all at Christmas.  I filled it up with Christmas Oreos (nothing says Christmas like Oreo cookies~ha!) because well, it was either that or Halloween Candy.  But think of all of the stuff you can put in these!!!  I'm hoping Santa reads this and fills up 4 or 5 of them with Copics for me ;)  Stay tuned tomorrow because I have an idea for something similar that I dreamed up while I was in Dollar Tree...

Ingredients:  Stamps: Whimsie Doodles {Sweet Sentiments}; Cardstock: SU! {Whisper White}; Ink: SU! {Real Red, Riding Hood Red}; Ribbon: SU! {Real Red}; Accessories:  Shapeabilities, Ikea Container, Oreos.
