Technique Challenge 230

We met my Mom yesterday half way between our houses so that we could bring my Grandma to our house for a few days. This morning Grandma, me and the boys went blackberry (not at the Verizon store, we were after the edible kind of blackberries) picking at my MIL's house and I just finished making my first batch of homemade blackberry jam. I sure hope it is yummy because we are all scratched up from the prickly bushes. We'll give you a taste report tomorrow morning after breakfast :)
Today's technique challenge on SCS was to use fabric on our card.  I chose to diecut my fabirc scrap with a Cuttlekids die in the shape of a beach umbrella.  I added it to a Whimsie Doodles Beach Border and Flip Flop Bear scene.  The sky and sand were colored using a combination of coloring and airbrushing with my Copics.  The umbrella pole, shovel, bucket, ball, innertube, snorkel and mask are all raised with Crystal Effects.  I added the dots to the sand and the sentiment from the Crab and Company set from Stampin' Up!
Ingredients:  Stamps:  Stampin' Up! {Crab and Company}, Whimsie Doodles {Flip Flop Bear, Beach Border-Sand}; Cardstock:  Stampin' Up! {Green Galore, Whisper White}; DP: Basic Grey {Lily Kate};  Ink:  Stampin' Up! {Close to Cocoa}, Copics; Accessories:  Crystal Effects, Copic Airbrush System, Fabric Scrap, Cuttlekids Die, White Gel Pen.
