For the Hostess with the Mostest!

This project is the perfect summertime soiree hostess gift! I took a plain kraft drink holder (which I purchased in bulk online a year or two ago) and covered a portion in Basic Grey’s Sultry. Next I cut 2” x 12” pieces and used my scalloped edge punch to scallop one side of it and adhered it to the carrier. Since the carrier has a couple of odd angled sides, I used the scalloped piece to make it appear straighter. Then I used a strip of ribbon to make a border between the two paper pieces. I also covered the label portion of the lemonade bottles (these bottles are actually much larger than they appear in the picture) in a coordinating Sultry pattern. The handle of the carrier is covered in all different types of ribbon (check out Limelight Papercrafts for a fantastic selection!)

Ingredients: Stamps: Stampin’ Up! {Yummy}; Cardstock: Stampin’ Up! {Whisper White}; Designer Paper: Basic Grey {Sultry}; Ink: Stampin’ Up! {Chocolate Chip}; Accessories: Kaiser Crafts {Adhesive Rhinestones}, Various Ribbons: {Limelight Papercrafts, Stampin’ Up! and my personal stash}, Martha Stewart {Butterfly Punch}; Other: World Market {1 Liter Lemon-Lime Soda}.

Didn't know you could buy the drink carriers plain. Guess you can pretty much buy anything in bulk. LOL Great hostess gift no matter what's in the bottles. {{{hugs}}}
