Inspired by Roxie (SC227)

After seeing Roxie's (Rox71) sketch challenge sample, I was inspired to open up my 'A Little Birdie Told Me' set and actually put it together! This is the first time I've used it-- and it is sooo cute! I also used a Copic marker (I have a set of 12 primary colors-- and that doesn't help a lot when I'm trying to color) and an old Prismacolor marker that my husband gave me (from his design school days) to color the bird and flowers. I was excited to be able to blend the colors.... now I must have more Copics. If any of you know of a Copic fairy, please send them my way! I stamped the bird image twice and layered the images. I actually punched out two tiny flowers to cover up the stamped one. I used a mask to make the stem go in the bird's mouth. The center of the punched flower has a tiny adhesive pearl that I colored with the Copic. I used my CM ovals for the sentiment. I wasn't quite sure what to do about all of that white space....any suggestions? The finished size is 4.5 " x 4.5".

Ingredients: Stamps: Stampin' Up! {A Little Birdie Told Me}; Cardstock: Stampin' Up! {Barely Banana, Whisper White}; DP: K & Company {Raspberry}; Ink: Stampin' Up {Regal Rose, Pumpkin Pie, Mellow Moss}; Accessories {Scallop Edge Punch, Martha Flower Punch, Adhesive Pearl, Copics, Prismacolor Marker, CM Ovals, Rose Grosgrain}.
