Mark's Finest Papers Design Team is celebrating our BRAND NEW STAMPS for the Speedy the Cat Designer Collection and Serenity Collection with a Blog Hop! They are available TODAY!
My project today features the new set, Speedy the Cat's Friends. When I saw this cute little frog, I just had to use it to make a project for my 6 year old, Reilly. He has his own craft table beside mine, and I have a girly version of this post-it holder on my desk that he has been eyeing since I made it back in October for Faith's stamping retreat swap! These little gifts are sooo easy to make! All it is is an acrylic frame with designer paper placed inside where the picture should go. The post-it notes, ribbon and frog image are all on the outside of the frame. That's it! I stamped the frog image in Pallette Landscape, and colored him using a combination of sponging and Prisma pencils. I made his eye black using a black gel pen.
Ingredients: Stamps: Marks' Finest Papers {Speedy the Cat's Friends}; Cardstock: Mark's Finest Papers {Hazelnut Tan, Snow Storm Smooth}; Designer Paper: Mark's Finest Papers {Basic Grey: Origins}; Ribbon: Mark's Finest Papers {Green Velvet}; Ink: Mark's Finest Papers {Pallette: Landscape}; Other: Circle Punches, Post-It notes, 3D dots, Black Gel Pen, Prisma Pencils.
For your chance to win BLOG CANDY, visit and comment on each of the following design team members' blogs on February 10th, 11th, and 12th. On Saturday, (February 13), a winner will be chosen from those who have visited all 9 blogs all three days.
The winner will be announced on the Mark's Finest Papers Blog and will receive 2 Stamp Sets that will be released NEXT month. And remember, Friday night will be the New Flourishes Release at Mark's Finest Papers!
Good Luck!
