Then, on Saturday,(January 16), a winner will be chosen from those who have visited all 8 blogs, all 3 days. The winner will be announced on the Mark's Finest Papers Blog and will receive 2 Stamp Sets that will be released NEXT month. And remember, Friday night will be the New Flourishes Release at Mark's Finest Papers!

Good Luck!

Here is my project for today, which features an image from the new MFP set called Serenity Whispers, and a sentiment from the MFP Blackberries, Sunflowers and Bees set.  I created a 2-4-6-8 box (remember those??) and lid.  I used one for the Serenity floral images to create a very simple background, by stamping in black on the Beach Sand cardstock from MFP.  For the lid, you use the same instructions as the box, only you cut the longer edges down to 1".  I made the lid from Speedy the Cat Black Linen cardstock, and I also I cut slits in the fold on two sides so that I could run ribbon through and around to the top.  The adorable tissue paper flower was one of those things I just had to try, after seeing {this post} on Samantha Pudney's blog!  Super easy, fast and adorable!

And just in case you were wondering what was inside.....

Everything used in my project is available at Mark's Finest Papers.
(Except the cookies and tissue paper-- hee hee!)
Ingredients:  Stamps: Serenity Whisper; Blackberries, Sunflowers and Bees; Ink: Memento {Black}; Cardstock: Speedy the Cat Black Linen, Beach Sand; Ribbon: Vanilla Luxury Satin Ribbon; Brass Charm {Label Holder}.
Be sure to show all of the MFP design team members some love today!
Have fun on the rest of the hop!
