Ways to Use It-- Go Faux!

For today's Ways to Use it Challenge on SCS, we were to use some sort of faux technique, product, etc, to create an element on our cards. My "element" came via accident. I decided to create a Faux Waxed Paper Resist background (accidentally) after stamping a tree repeatedly from the Forest of Trees set by Flourishes. I added some sponging and thought that when I was done it looked kind of like I had done waxed paper resist on my backgound piece... Tah Dah!

Ingredients: Stamps: Mark's Finest Papers {Flourishes: Forest of Trees}, Unity {September KOM}; Cardstock: SU! {Sage Shadow, Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Pretty In Pink}; Ink: SU! {Sage Shadow, Basic Black}, Copics; Accessories: MS border punch, Michael's sheer ribbon, Basic Grey button, Ikea twine, Nestabilities.
